around for significantly greater stability after installation.
Maibec offers custom color from
Cabot's Stains on three different grades: Nantuckets (P&R Extras K.D.),
Kennebunk (P&R Clears K.D.), and Bar Harbor (P&R 2nd Clears K.D.). The
stain is guaranteed not to crack, blister, peel or chip for five years
(one coat) or 15 years (2 coats) and boasts a 30-year guarantee against

Available in grades A-D, Waska
is distributed throughout the United States and Canada at nearly 70,000
squares a year. Waska’s has trade-marked a Machinecoat system of
applying Olympic weathering stains where the end result is a uniform and
tough shingle ready to fight the elements.
When (1) coat of Olympic
semi-transparent stain is applied, Waska backs it up
with a 12-year warranty. For (1) coat of Olympic paint, Waska
offers a 5-year guarantee against any peeling, cracking and flaking and
a 15-year warranty when we apply (2) coats. For all white cedar
shingles Waska offers a 40 year guarantee against decay.

Cedar Shingles
We now carry red
cedar shingles in both red (#2) and blue labels (#1). We can custom
order black label (grade #3) however we do not currently stock the
item. Shingles and shakes can be pressure impregnated to be fire
retardant in class A, B, and C building requirements. For more
